Home Learning Week 4 Timetable – 25.01.2021

Welcome to week 4 of home learning!

I simply can’t believe how we are over the half way mark until February half-term!

Here is this week’s home learning timetable – Weekly Timetable (wb 25.01)

This week we will be setting daily tasks for Phonics, Maths and English in the morning as well as Guided Reading and a foundation activity for the afternoon. There will also be an assembly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  This is very similar to our regular school timetable to keep the children in routine and give them some familiarity during this uncertain time.

We will be uploading daily posts explaining the tasks your child is to complete that day so you will need to log onto the class blog each day to be able to access the relevant sheets, PowerPoint’s and website links for each day’s activities.

During this period of home learning, I will be tracking who is commenting/posting on the blog as well as who is accessing Spelling Shed and Numbots every week. Ideally, children should be doing these at least once every day alongside the lessons planned!

It is a requirement by the Government that teachers are to check weekly interaction with home learning and to contact those that are not.

Competitions:

We will be holding a weekly Spelling Shed competition with everyone who goes on receiving 1 dojo point each day that they play, and the top 3 pupils (those with the highest 3 Shed Scores) receive 10, 5 and 3 dojo points respectively.

We also hold be holding a  Numbots competition where everyone who goes on will receive 1 dojo point each day that they play and the top 3 pupils (those with the highest minutes played) will receive 10, 5 and 3 dojo points respectively.

Each child will receive 5 dojo points for every post they create on the class blog as I love to see and read about what you have been doing!

Have fun, work hard and stay safe!
