For this term, we are going to be looking at the topic of cooking and how we prepare fruit and vegetables!

Today, we are going to be looking at where our food comes from.

For the first part of the lesson, you will need to listen to the song ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’ and listen carefully to the fruit and vegetables mentioned. You could even write these down on a piece of paper!

Now, I would like for you to have a look at any of the fruit and vegetables you have at home! With someone in your house, discuss what they look and feel like. Once you have done this, have a go at sorting them into those that grow above the ground and those that grow below the ground.

Golden Time

As we usually would on a Friday, I would like you all to have some golden time – you deserve it! That goes for you parents too!

You can choose an activity that you enjoy doing – make sure you are having fun and doing something that you enjoy!

Teams Talk – 2.45pm

Miss Baggott and I are really looking forward to seeing you all this afternoon! As Miss Baggott is in school with the critical worker children, I will be leading the Teams Talks this week!

Today, we are going to play ‘Bingo’.

Please can you draw a 4 x 4 grid on a piece of paper and write a number in each square choosing from the numbers 1 – 20.

I will call out and show numbers and if you have the number on your grid, you cross it out.  The first person to cross out all their numbers is the winner!
